  we reuse/re-purpose plastic water bottles in our school garden . . . the kids fill the bottles from the rain barrel & water the squares of our square-foot garden

  I wish there were more recycle bins or programs everywhere. We live in a small town and rely on friends who live about 20 miles away. We use their bin.

  I recycle every day but there seems to be much more that I can do. I will check when I shop for recyclable plastic containers.

  I've always recycled, we have a natural spring water where I live so I only drink that and use my empty milk jugs or anything that we can use again, like Gatorade bottles etc...

  Thank you for the interesting info you are sharing. I also recycle by taking plastic and paper bags to stores or shops that reused them to put products they sell in.
