  George Clooney would play Steve Jobs as George Clooney; kinda like he does with all of his movie roles.

  Clooney is a significantly better actor, I strongly believe that he'd capture what Jobs was really like much better than Wyle could. Besides, Wyle had his chance, and Pirates wasn't that good of a movie anyway.

  Clooney is a far superior actor, and far more experienced as well. Noah Wyle has done done much outside the realm of TV. Altogether, his roles and performance are of little note significance impact or memorability. I have never seen him in any role that could not have been played by pretty much anyone (ER, Donnie Darko, W,). Meanwhile Clooney, was stellar in almost everything which he has done since Out of Sight, which is ALOT (Ocean's 11, Three Kings, O Brother Where Art Thou, Confessions of A Dangerous Mind, Good Night & Good Luck, Michael Clayton, Burn After Reading, Up In The Air, The American, and Ides of Marsh, to name the most striking). He has also shown himself to be a good director. Overall his is just a far superior actor and far more knowledgable of film than Noah Wyle, and most other current actors for that matter.
