Has The NBA Gotten Worse?

Niggas be disasturbating over this "the nba is bad now" shit. Back then, you only saw top teams on tv and the shitty teams weren't shown. Now we can see all of the games good and terrible teams and people haven't had so much access before.

I do think the player quality has gotten better actually. I think since there aren't players that are putting up numbers like MJ did with the bulls, people turn into those people being nostalgic "back in my day, basketball was better and the players had more skill"

I voted yes, because that's the closest answer to how I feel. I think that since the NBA started adding so many teams starting in the late 80s, there's been more teams to spread talent around to, thus resulting in less talented teams. Imagine if Blake Griffin, John Wall, Kevin Love, Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, and Tyreke Evans could go play for teams like Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Jersey, Indiana, and Houston. Think about how the competitive balance in the NBA would shift.

However, I do agree to some extent that overall player quality has gotten worse recently, mainly due to the rise of players taking a paid one year college vacation instead of staying and maturing their games in college. While there are NBA ready one-and-dones like Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant, they honestly could've left it open for players to go straight to the league from HS, because there are very few Perry Jones' and Jared Sullinger's, guys that stay for more than just a year, which was the point of the rule from what I can tell. They should make guys wait 4 years or let them in fresh out of HS.

One more thing, about David Stern, the whole CP3 thing may not have been a power politic thing. Think about it. Who's going to buy the Hornets if there's no CP3? That's like investing into a guaranteed loss. Although if CP3 gets traded before a buyer for the Hornets is reached, then yeah this is a power move.
