It doesn't matter what the rationale or history for a name. The bottom line is, what does it connote today.

I always loved driving through Mississauga and seeing a huge sign from the highway: FAG bearings. The name is funny, but when you get serious about wanting quality bearings .... it's gotta be a FAG.
