Agree with all of the above comments. I'm a Dem and I ALWAYS VOTE. Just take a look though at the weak candidates the party puts up. It's almost like people are afraid of the vetting process. I don't even know if Jefferson, Roosevelt or even Lincoln could have been elected in this environment. The worst thing now is we have state legislators who refuse to respond to phone calls, letters or email. The are completely oblivious to their constituents. We really need to work on getting candidates and then get out the vote. I just hope we can survive til 2016.
Harold Meyer, they gave themselves raises, but WE allowed them to do it with Issue 3 that was on the ballot last year. WE also extended their term limits. Of course, ALL THIS was BURIED DEEP in the bill that was disguised as an "ETHICS" bill they had drawn up. Ethics... yeah, RIGHT. CAN'T.TRUST.REPUBLICANS.
This is what you get when you elect the Republicans. If you are a Democrat and didn't vote last election, you are the problem. You are what is wrong in this country. If you think your vote doesn't count, why do you think they are trying to take your vote away? Be smart . . . register and vote.
They give themselves raises after cutting taxes last session. Their persistence to promote discrimination through legistlation saddens me.
