KLM, I'm also super-pleased with the Prime streaming video quality. I've had a tiny stutter once...not bad at all. Better than the Netflix app, by the way, which has some audio/video syncing issues.
Terry, I love going back through old TV shows...and old movies. I've been watching Mission:Impossible from the beginning (pre-Peter Graves at this point).
One hilarious thing I mentioned to my family. They were going to scam a casino, and Barney had built a computer that could calculate where the roulette ball was going to fall. However, Willy (the world record weightlifter) had to wear it...it weighed ninety pounds. ;)
Lee, I haven't tethered my Fire like that, so I'm glad to hear that's working well for you! That question comes up from time to time. I knew it could be done, but I don't have the personal experience with it.

I have rarely used the Amazon video feature but I do watch a lot of flash video I couldn't watch on my Ipad. I tether my Fire to my Iphone for wireless service so I can use my Fire to watch and surf just about anywhere.

Too many things to watch. Because of Prime's free videos, I'm catching up on Tv shows that I missed when I was too busy being a young Mom (7 seasons of Ally McBeal, Upstairs, Downstairs, etc.) and old movies. The best is catching the deal of the day on new and recent movies!

I am ecstatic about the smoothness and speed of Amazon's streaming video. I am usually at the distance limit of a DSL connection, and most video on my computer is choppy at best.
