Should firing warning shots over suspected thieves be allowed?

l wouldnt shoot high unless the thief was wearing high heels...right between the lookers is the best spot. Knocking them out and tie them up first then torture them by making them watch 1 hr of Justin Beiber singing baby baby baby baby to lil Miss Gomez Adams in his Richard Simmons workout panties will probably make any thieves turn the gun on themselves first and spare you prosecution.

I should be able to protect my family in my own home with my gun, no doubt about it. The criminals rights should cease to exist as soon as they enter my house. Kate, spoken like a true Liberal, hope your life isnt in danger sometime. Why do criminals have more rights than a law abiding citizen here In Canada?

Shooting into the air is just stupid. You don't know where the bullet will end up, do you? Why do we have to have such stupid politicians? Oh wait, there are a lot of stupid citizens too, judging by the poll results. Duhh, me angry, me fire gun at air. And that solves the problem how, exactly? It scares the criminal away? So he runs faster with your DVD player I guess. Or just shoots you first and takes what he wants at his leisure.

I dont know how good that would be, What if the person you are trying to stop has a gun.
    What then.?

Of course, by any means necessary! My DVD player is absolutely worth the life of another person. Especially a CRIMINAL person. They're not even really human. I read it somewhere, I'm certain.

I would much rather shoot the perpetrator because by firing into the air you wouldn't know where the bullet would land which might endanger innocent people.

Of course it must be legal, but it is stupid to wast your time shooting an air, when you can receive bullet in your head at the same time.

Of course it should be legal to defend your family and property by any means necessary. I'm sick and tired of the pro criminal groups bashing law abiding citizens for wanting to be able to use firearms. But being able to use a gun to defend one's person and property should be just phase 1. I also believe that law abiding citizens should be able to obtain concealed carry permits. After all, it's not legal gun owners like myself who cause crime, it's the criminals who don't care about laws, including gun laws.
