First video game I played was Pong when a friend bought a home console back in 1979 . First video game I owned was Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt when I bought a Nintendo Entertainment System in late 1986. It is still in good working order, and still used occasionally by my daughter and her friends when they get tired of their more modern games. I have about thirty games for it.

played early 1990's though had an Nintendo Entertainment System from 1989. I remember playing Atari, Arcade and many early things, during the Japanese "Golden Age" of gaming.

My first video game was the arcade version of space invaders. I still remember lining up at local roller skating rink to play it. It was right beside a number of pinball machines, I was blown away.
My first home console experience was a friend's Atari 2600. My brother and I begged our parents for one, but we got an intellivision instead for xmas that year. Turns out that it was a superior system graphically so we became the envy of the neighborhood kids!
