My goodness, this decision should have been taken eons ago. Billions spent for nought... Those British subs were originally designed as nuclear boats, then converted to diesel-electric. They are duds. Why do you think we got them so cheap? The Brits didn't want them and neither should have we. Let's get rid of those floating lemons and build our own class of ice-capable diesel boats. The technology exists. Think of the jobs created and the expertise gained! Australia (a country very similar to ours in size and population) did it and so should we. A no-brainer, really! Cheers!
as long as they are made in canada.to create more jobs then yes..same with the Jets..why send work & our tax $$$ out of the country? We have the skills..
