Of course they're not the same. The choice could be yes OR no. It deeply offends me when people equate pro-choice with pro-abortion.
The abortion question is based in religion. The majority of people against abortion feel that way because of their theology. This country is about religious freedom. By taking away a woman's right to choose, they are effectively pushing their religion on others, and that is generally thought of as illegal. It's definitely against the founding principles of the country.
I'm not christian and I'm not muslim, and I shouldn't have to be held to their ideals if I don't want to be.
