First of all MR Goodman it is oil sand it;s been seaping into the neerby waterways for hundreds of years,if it;s tar as you seem to believe are we useing all the tar they recover to build our roads throughout Canada or are they replaceing it back where they retrieved it.You seem to be a know it all Vikinger.

The CBC should use the correct term, which is "tar sands". "Oil sands" suggest some degree of refining, which is NOT the case. Please use the correct term and don't try to mislead readers.
