Let's keep a few things in mind here. Firstly, there are two server rule sets to make use of. Secondly, this poll is for a thread in the PvP forums, and should therefore be treated as a PvP server rule set poll. No reason EME can't make each server rule set treat LFG differently.
LFD tool that ports party to instance. Server restricted, because reputation should matter. I would much rather be doing other things than being stuck in an area waiting for a group to arrive. If you want to have everyone travel there individually so you can get a party started they announced RP servers today. Spamming a channel doesn't work either and the channel will be over trolled.
SOME people have other things to do in real life than to have time to sit around in game all day just to get themselves a dungeon run started. People who want to do dungeons are after gears and quests and are obviously not interested in pvp at that time. I am not going to watch my party members have trouble getting through douche bags camping entrances with nothing better to do. What you guys are suggesting is redundant and is a big waste of time.
the option you are looking for is: Will play, but LFD is nice. Also, you CAN MAKE YOUR OWN OPTION. THATS WHAT IT IS FOR. USE IT.
What the heck kind of poll is this? Every single option is like against LFD. Where is the option that says "YES, I LOVE LFD AND LOOKING FORWARD TO IT" ? So biased... worthless poll.
I think WoW has ruined the LFD tool for a majority of the responders here.
I played RIFT for 5 months and used the LFD tool quite a bit. I thought it was extremely helpful and only rarely had issues with the players. Most of the time nobody talked at all in the dungeons (kind of sad, but better than e-peen comparisons) and generally things got done.
The negative responses honestly surprise me.
don't like cross server dungeons have bad experiance with that kind, some hard core pvp servers tend to try telling others what to do dmg/gear/how low there dmg is ... yeah u get the point not pleased at all if its crossed server
i hope it is implemented and teleports you to the dungeon dont get me wrong knowing where the dungeon is nice waiting for ppl to get there is a pain took 20 whole mins for our healer to get here >.>
