I am a fast runner so I usually do as many charity races as is humanly possible. One race I saw a man's shin develop a pair of lips and start singing show tunes. I tried to keep up but he was quicker (and better looking). The rest of the race was boring needless to say.

I do not believe that we should be forcing charities to race against each other for our amusement. I do not participate in such tomfoolery.

Charity races keep going up in price, so I just stopped doing them. Road races should not cost so much that I have to factor them into my budget.
