Some tourists comes just to buy branded bags, watches and other items. But to go places here it's very much limited. Tourists maps (guides where to go when there bored) morning only coz not much post lights, which bore them more. Parks for kids if tourists is in tight budget,? Coz slides swings broken too dark. That's why Guamanian like me rather go to Philippines for amusements and parks. Even u have money here it's still no comparison when you go to Philippines. I hope Guam could also have whatever it takes to keep also our OWN people not only tourists to lure to stay here for fun places and activities.

Depending on tourism alone for this islands economic survival is a pipe dream. All the tax credits given are a joke. The government needs to look inward and concentrate on stimulating more resident consumer spending. Tourists are here, 3 days, at the most a week and then leave, and that's it, they're gone. Residents 24/7! Lastly, the government itself needs to control it's finances, it's caused the island to go broke. All the promises made about community and infrastructure needs haven't been met, but yet unnecessary projects like a museum have managed to be priority.
