YES, I can get my entertainment without cable TV! And you, the reader out there can, too. It's easy. Here's how I do it: I set up a mirror near my window facing my neighbors living room, so I grab the reflection of their TV set. Then, through a series of other mirrors and lenses, I project it onto my bedroom wall.
It works great and we have something to talk about in the neighborhood because I'm up to speed on everything they watch.

I cut off my cable 5 yrs ago. I will never look back. I have saved so much money since doing this. I have the roku stick that plugs in the back of tv like a memory stick. You can get at walmart for one time fee of 50.00 -80.00 not sure of prices now. I bought mine several yrs. ago. Majority of programming is free and live streamed thru your internet service which is less than 50 bucks a month. I also have apple tv box , which is even better as you can pay for a season of a newer tv show for as little as 18.00 or just pay 1.99 per show. I only pay for a season or a new show in series if I don't feel like waiting a week to see the next show of the season thru the apple ipad apps such as cbs, nbc etc. some shows are viewable the next day, others you have to wait a week. Shows on stations like AMC such as walking dead you cannot view thru the AMC ipad app as you need to have a cable service, but you can still see the show by paying for the series thru ipad apple. All in all it still works out to be much less then paying for cable. You can also view movies too. Have xbox and download the movies and tv show too. Cable service is on the way out as a fad. Pretty soon though they will raise their rates for internet to compensate for lost money in cable. Till then I am a happy camper.
