We all should be concerned. NYS can easily make untold monies by selling the Sing - Sing property and maybe the two women's facilities at Bedford. All three prisons would attract huge prices. The sales tax revenues alone would bring in huge amounts. Jobs, revenues , help for our citizens should be our concern. Trump wanted to buy Sing -Sing over 20 years ago. Dutchess County does not need to have.a new jail. Corrections is changing all around. Citizens should vote on all matters. NYS corrections needs to rethink their operations as well. Change is good.

Good, everyone get out. I was born and raised here and this is my home. I'm sick of the huge influx of people coming out of the city and Westchester and clogging up our roads. Move out!

I left a year ago due to extremely high taxes, house prices, oil and electric costs. Moved south where living is affordable and no snow.

Let's see. Arlington School District - one of the most expensive to live in in NYS, but they can't figure out how to keep control over basic things like integrity of student grades. Roads, some of the worst maintained in the country. Metro North, you take your life in your hands riding the trains. Cuomo, the closest thing to a Dictator on US soil we have ever seen (he's going to ram his minimum wage vote-buying law through with an executive order, among many other illegal uses of executive order he has done). Income taxes through the roof, including the fifedom taxes layered on you if you happen to work in NYC. I could go on and on and on. The only good thing about NY is the land here is beautiful, the weather is nice and the location is great. Too bad our government and "leaders" have ruined it for us. Yes, we are actively planning on leaving this state as soon as feasible.
