Guam can benefit from energy producing methods of wind, solar, and hydroelectricity. Wind power can be used in the Mt Lamlam area. Solar power in the northern parts of the island and hydroelectricity pretty much all over the island. With all these types of ways to produce power to the island, it would promote more job opportunities. This would be a WIN WIN for both government and locals,...more sources for producing energy to the island and cost of power is reduced for homes and businesses. A WIN WIN!!!

Why are we not aggressively pursuing solar energy solutions at the residential level, with more support from our local government, when we know that our conventional energy producing resources are not reliable? When we know that we are very independent on fuel from off island sources? Seems like our government is more interested in protecting special interests, instead of truly looking out for the welfare of the people.
