Pay raises should be set aside and the major prioritization must be the repairing of the
disgracing roads around the island. Please, please GOVERNOR Calvo, and to all of you
Senators, we need good roads to extend the lives of our vehicles. Hope you all do something
to rectify this major problem of this island. Very embarrassing roads.

@ Tina Slao...funny how you attack Senator San Nicolas, and call him disrespectful. The whole public hearing was a dog and pony circus put together by the front office. They knew the cameras would be on and the people would be at home watching, and their goal was to discredit the senator. The governor claims that the bill his puppet Rodriguez introduced in January was going to save money, but he isn't telling the people that the bill introduced was going to ask for refinancing in September, so how was that going to save additional money? Also the savings would only be $1.5 million a year, and $45 million over a course of 30 years. San Nicolas bill to repeal 32-208 would save $3 M a year, which would be $45 million in only 15 years. Do the research and avoid the kool aid.

Pay raises should be justified. Exempt from pay raises should be The Governor, Lt. Governor, Mayors and most of all THE Guam Legislature. It should be a set pay until there is justification why their pay should increase. Also there should be a law for Senators to have only two terms and after that there OUT. It seems some of these Senators are making this a lifelong Career!! It should not be!! I agree that this administration is like a soap opera, so the Saga continues.....

Las Ladronis! I don't know if I spelled that right but you all get the meaning :) Us Tax payers should determine who get a raise, its our money!! Sorry people of Guam, it wont matter who's in office, its a rule there, that you are with them or against them.

All I saw was a very disrespectful Senator San Nicholas to the public. NO CLASS. Power hungry!!! I hope the Administration & the Mayors of all villages work very hard to get him out of office. I never seen a Senator chase people out of the public hearing.

Deserving?!?Its not a matter of deserving but how the pay raise was rigged by the legislature and admin. So shady and greedy. You thought that the people would just forget like the past. Not this one. We have too many problems not being addressed such as the hospital, poor condition of schools, drug problems, high crime, poor public transportation, mental health etc. people want their tax dollars spent fixing these blatant critical areas and
not to put our money into your pockets.Be honest leaders. Do what you know is right. Rescind that pay raise and retro. Put our tax dollars to where it is so direly needed. Otherwise, you will go down in history as the most corrupt administration. I'm sure you don't want that as your legacy Mr. Calvo. I was so proud of you in your first term. And legislature, kiss your jobs good bye next election. We WILL REMEMBER how you voted on this matter. You've brought shame to our island.

It's pretty obvious the governors staff rigged yesterday's poll to make them look good. What's worse is that they will blast the legislature in today's poll. The people aren't sleeping. This is by far the most corrupt administration because they are essentially bribing their staff and cabinet with peanuts while covering up that huge bananas they are taking. How come no one is questioning why a former GEDA administrator got a $350,000 home for signing off on $12 million in tax credits? There is so much more in questionable activity going on out there. What about the Lt. Governor getting a $1m contract at the airport?

Wow! Yesterdays poll concerning the govenor's decision to give his staff bonuses was obviously RIGGED! Most likely by his overpaid staff. Now here we have the question dealing with the same issue but govenors name not involved and the truth is revealed. I am beyond disgusted with this government. They are a bunch of crooks with self deserving attitudes! AMBIENTO!

Shame on you governor, while the hospital is in need of medicines, schools structure are deteriorating, and elderly were cut on providing care, You and the few received a pay raise plus bonus. I blame you because you are considered top management. You made a promise to the voter to take care of health and the future of Guam, but you only took care of the few.

I'm ashamed of those elected defending their pay raise. Get real, It doesn't matter if you deserve your pay raise or not, Guam doesn't have the money to afford your current salaries. They should prioritize the community first before give themselves a raise.

Watched it on t.v and I have to say Gov Guam has some rude, classless and pathetic people representing the people of Guam starting from the top in the Calvo Administration . These people really could care less about the financial situation of their island and the people who live on it , the only thing these greedy idiots care about is their wallets ! Our government leaders have enslaved the public to work for them and that's just business as usual for them . RECIND ALL GOV GUAM PAY RAISE ! Thanks A lot Gov Guam !

Let's see where these greedy politicians end up working after the next election now that their careers are over -- I hope they did not forget how to operate a broom or mop.
