We are raising a generation of young people who have parents who want every kid to have an A for everything. Didn't study? We have an excuse. Didn't do homework? We have an excuse. Came to school ready to fall asleep because the kid is on the phone all night? School should be more interesting. Parents need to set some rules at home and be genuinely interested in their kids education. Calling school and demanding better grades doesn't cut it and kids count on it. Administrators need to back their teachers and refuse to raise grades just because they are bullied into it. Everyone is so willing to be the victim. Start standing for something.

The "over" testing of todays public school youth (along with the overly rigorous, poorly implemented Common Core standards) is perhaps the ONE issue conservatives, liberals and many in-between agree on.

Remember when America was on the top scholastically? What in God's name has happened? Liberals, communists, socialists, Marxists have taken over our schools. A well educated population is much harder to enslave .
