What about Tommy Morrison? I recall two trips that was published in the paper where he used taxpayer dollars. One was to either Australia or New Zealand where they were treating Guam and Micronesian lawmakers as VIP's, and he went. Also he went to an investors conference in. Hong Kong. What has come of these trips? Bills to try and fund repairs of village facilities, despite having limited resources? Flip flop stance on whether a hotel should be built in the south? There has been nothing introduced that has come from the results of these trips, and he is one of many who keep doing this to our people.

Barnes has spent over $45,000 of taxpayer money in the last 3 years on travel, and that includes going on a cruise, attending funerals in japan, despite the families request for privacy and to cut a ribbon for a trade show where she was treated like a celebrity. When you read of how our taxpayer money is being spent by our elected officials, then yes I agree, no more spending money on travel.

Would you rather have special interest groups pay for the travel? If so, then don't complain about influence peddling.

Fix the roads, pay off GovGu payables especially GDOE and GMH vendors, overdue retirement contributions first. Then, and only then should off island travel be considered appropriate.
