Remember your history, how you struggled through the years to be heard, to be recognized, to be treated the same, to have equal footing on the international field. lest you forget, you were not born with "sliver spoon" in your mouth. We all had to struggle because of big countries. These are the days of big countries throwing grumps to small countries and islands such as ours. No longer do we depend completely on our land and seas and on each other, those days are gone. These are the days of "money", money this, money that, everything is money. " Money talk", as the saying goes. Yes, this is your land, true, this is your ocean, of course, this is your government, but the money and benefits your so proud to call your own? Its not yours, it belongs to "Uncle Sam"! Proudly share it with your poor, dejected and ejected neighbors. Your ancestors who have passed would have say the same had they seen what has become of their beloved people, their beloved land and beloved sea! They understood the struggles, they understood the poverty, they understood everything under the sun. Most importantly, they understood what it means to be an "ISLANDER", yes, and they take pride in that identity as they shared through the ages. Pray that you don't immigrated to other countries for whatever reasons! I love guam, and I love her people. I have been living on guam since 1988, not depending on public anything! If you going to criticize one ethnicity, might as well not host the FESTPAC, yeah?

Greed is one of the reasons for war,men fighting men for land and power, let us not forget we are all immigrants on God's land, we forget in the beginning we had nothing, it took a community to build and fight for what we have today, it didn't matter ur race, origin,or religion, they fought together, stood together, and rejoyced together, have we lost our humanity did God not say ask and u shall receive, let us share our wealth with those in need,

FSM migrants must take their case to their Leaders and the Feds, and not take their frustration against GovGu or the local citizens of Guam. The citizens have every the right to be at the head of the line as this is their Island, FSM leadership sold your individual rights to the Feds through the Compact, and left Guam, Hawaii, and other states left to bare the brunt of the costs without 1-to-1 reimbursement from the Feds. I see your leadership in Business Class seats as they amass all the airline miles, thanks to the generous Federal funding for their off-island training conferences. Funds do flow to your FSM Islands. They're just not getting to the FSM migrants who are the intended recipients. So you see, Guam is a victim, just as much as you've been victim, by your Leaders and the Feds.

Taking care of our people whom were born and raised here should be a priority before we cater to migrants who come here for a free hand out.
I work with FAS/FSM migrants and they all say the same thing , we like it here because they give us money and housing for free and didn't have to find jobs for years until they decided on their own to look for employment . I don't blame them one bit for taking advantage of free stuff from Gov Guam but I wish we could help our citizens first before we hand out free money , our money . It's the right thing to do . We also need to implement a mandatory deportation process for all those migrants convicted of a crime . FAS/FSM , Chinese , Koreans etc.. All migrants convicted of a crime should be deported with a 15-20 year ban from entering our island again. Enough is enough ! Thanks Gov Guam !
Oh by the way Do not vote for the senators who reek of corruption Senator Tina Muna Barnes , Rory Respicio , Dennis Rodriguez ,and Bryant McCreadie . Bunch of greedy selfish and corrupt senators need to be voted out !
It's too late to vote Calvo out but he is the Greeediest one of them all ! Siphoning our tax money to enrich themselves while everything around them crumbles from financial burdens and unpaid debts. Giving out QC's like candy ! Dirty , dirty , dirty yikes !

Hello! our citizens (US Territory) of Guam should be first and foremost priority on all Federal/Govt subsidies, the migrant should be sent back to their homeland and their govt should care for them. Were taking in more ppl (migrant) and they get all the benefits and our tax paying folks forking out all the bill for them! Nope, their last on all the benefits, we (US) citizen deserve it first...Enough said!

SO THE GOVERMENT LEADERS IN OFFICE ARE GOING TO MAKE THEIR FAMILY FIRST AND ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS GET IN TO THIS BEFORE THEY GET OUT OFF OFFICE,POOR GET NOTHING SUCH A VERY BAD THING THAT WE THE PEOPLE OF GUAM HAVE TO LIVE FOR DAY BY DAY.

U.S. Citizens have civil duties they must fulfill, yet immigrants without such responsibilities and with a confirmed allegiance to another country have the same priority in social benefits. It only sounds fair to enact a fast lane for citizens as other developed countries have over foreigners unless in approved special cases, such as refugee status. Migrants from other islands should prove their assimilation and allegiance by naturalizing into Americans, ONLY THEN may they be rewarded with an equal status in benefits for equal responsibilities.

US citizens first priority. Migrants can go ask their home country for assistance.

I don't believe in discrimination and I think our leaders need to come up with a better solution.
Chamorros have the highest homeless rates, so we are going to lay down and only give them head of the line privileges? The solution needs to be fair for everyone!

What was wrong with first applying, first served? And keeping all in order, not segregating chamorro, FSM, or any other peoples as special cases. When it comes to available housing, take a number.
