Of course the sitting President should nominate the Supreme Court Justice. It is his Constitutional right and responsibility. The vacancy should not sit empty for over a year just because the GOP is whining. Do your job Congress!

MJ is correct and party lines need to corral themselves in JUST once in awhile and Actually do the PEOPLE'S Business! Stop crying and dragging your feet! Do you actually believe a Forefathers had delay tactics in politics on their minds! No they debated they negotiated and they COMPROMISED! So let's not let the Supreme Court sit idle for 18 months and let important issues as well! One last point you always forget that if the Supreme Court is left in a state of neutral and you lose the Presidency and you wanted to challenge some issue like when President Bush was elected and Florida was challenged. It went to the Supreme Court for an immediate decision and you won't be able to do that this time around or didn't all your high paid liars tell you??

Even if Congress rejects the Presidents nomination. They owe the American people to hold the hearings. Do your job Congress and stop all the bs grandstanding. Both sides need to grow up and do their jobs.
