Pacquaio does not want to lose his soul, Nike does not want to lose it's business. And I feel sorry for Notsonative. May the Lord have mercy on his soul.

Pacquiao is a great boxer with a simple mind set , he does not have a good background in education and basically grew up on the streets .
He gained his status in politics through pure popularity in the region and not for his intelligence or common sense.
He religious beliefs are strong and no can blame him for making those remarks but himself. Simple but profound mistake everyone has made At least once in their life. He is I believe a good person at heart just misguided on how words can create ripples in this new era of political correctness gone wild. I doubt he goes around yelling out obcenities to every LGBT he runs into . it's unfortunate his name is a bit more tarnished and the loss of income from a well know sponsor like Nike but I'm sure he has learned a real lesson from this and will help make a better man and not just a great boxer. God bless him and may God bless all those who has made negative comments regarding this.
it was just a mistake he made people , get over it ! It's not a big deal , his comments didn't prevent gay marriage from happening .
The earth will still rotate and life will go on . The religious and the LGBT won't always see eye to eye and that's ok . No need to get nasty .
I don't think gays are worst than dogs but I just don't understand how sticking your penis inside another mans poop chute is satisfying .
I'm just ignorant and need forgiveness for my lack of knowledge on the matter. I always ask my gay friends that same question and they always come back with this comment " you should try it " , we laugh and carry on to another subject but it's still doesn't give me any more knowledge on the matter. It must be magical , why else would they use a rainbow as their symbol . "There's a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow" I guess.
Mysteries of the world . lol. God bless them.

    PACMAN cross the line.

Nike is a business with consumers worldwide, from all walks of life. In order for Nike to continue attracting their current market plus new markets, Nike must stay PC to continue their marketability. This means no sponsored athlete with homophobic opinions will stay on their bankroll alienating the LBGT consumers..

Unless he changes his name to Kobe Bryant and rapes a masseuse in Colorado will he get a pass from Nike.

People need to inform themselves that all this "political correctness" is the same technique used during Nazi Germany designed to make people dazed and confused.

There is more protection of gay rights than there is any for the murdering of hundreds of thousands of innocent children and Christians in the Middle East.

    Something is seriously wrong here.

When Caitlyn Jener is considered a superstar and Antonin Scalia is given less than a pauper's burial attention, one can tell that to turn everything upside down and make the inane significant and the significant inane is a brainwashing game played by social engineers with an evil agenda.

Nike has the right to do anything it wants as regards its endorsers. Pacquiao has the right to say anything he wants.

What is wrong here is when those who support a Nazi tyrannical agenda do so at all.

And since a caliphate is being constructed globally, the first thing these "engineers" will do is destroy the very source of anti-gay or anti-homosexual controversy by attacking the Bible.

Now even the Pope is getting into the act by aligning with Islam.

Know how and when you are being fooled.

This "poll" is just another device to track what people think and how people will complain.

The news media carrying this story is bought and paid for to spread this whole agenda.

Nike is a business, not a charity.

  • notsonative - 8 years ago

Manny Pacquiao has the right to express his beliefs AND Nike has the right to respond. ALL RELIGIOUS BIGOTS, you DO NOT have the right to NOT be challenged for your hateful opinions, beliefs, and speech. Your freedom to swing your fist stops at my face.
And may I remind all of you that abortion is still legal, same-sex marriage is now the law of the land, and the fastest growing "religion" is NONE. Why? Because new generations realize how stupid religion and tradition are in the face of modern science and reason. Education illuminates the darkness cast by old-age myths. Get over it.
