Does Montana need to re-examine its stand-your-ground law?

My observation is that this law is being used to plan (virtually premeditation) a violent response to a situation that has previously existed. The law has become a thought process which is being used by some members of the public to justify violent actions against another human being. I would point to court trials where the plan or thought process has produced gunshots to the back of now deceased individuals. Because of this law the perpetrators first words of justification or proclamation of innocence are "I feared for my life". This law in more and more ways leads society, essentially, to think....do something before somebody else might do something. That thought process is too open ended!
