I'd rather approve of this for people to seek medical help than to approve of drunk people driving .

I say yes! It's a natural herb with so many benefits not only medically, but it can make fuel, clothes, paper, etc. The medical benefits are endless curing glaucoma, insomnia, asthma, cancer, epileptic seizures, alleviates pain and fever, atharitis, etc.

I strongly agree so these crimes created by alcohol would slowly fade away by my fellow micronesians????

Driving a jeep Cherokee doesn't make you a Native American @dennis tinkham . Lol.... Please spark another joint !

I think Marijuana should be legal period. I am from the states, I am Native American (Cherokee), in my culture it is a part of our life. medicine, part of our rituals, and was never a problem in our society... If legalized, I could benefit greatly from it. I have a degenerative spinal condition, not working, not getting any government assistance, not even Social Security, Which I should be eligible for...

I think this would be a great idea. So many people are being thrown into jail for the illegal use of marijuana when it has not caused any problems or deaths compared to what alcohol and major drugs have. I support the legalization of medical marijuana

If Tina had a good pair of ovaries, she would just outright legalize cannabis for recreational use. But if she did, the use and cost of the problems associated with alcohol and tobacco would decease significantly, and we couldn't have that! This is a non-toxic plant we are discussing. Another reason to take drug-control policy making out of the hands of politicians and turn it over to the National Institutes of Health and the National Academy of Sciences! Inhale deeply!

    Is this a healthy idea?

Everyone has their own opinion of marijuana and just because you are not a user of the substance does not mean you have to deny every possibility for those who are suffering. Know your facts before judging the situation at hand. I support Tina Muna Barnes! If there are no loop holes to this, it will be better for the elderly. It can help with those who have ADHD , anger problems, etc.

I have a funny feeling Barnes Muna Tina is gonna trick us on this , I know her familia and friends were trying to monopolize the dispensaries on island if and when it gets started . Why all of a sudden would she push for growing your own marijuana ? I'm highly suspicious but it's the right direction if it is true. If your being treated for an illness and medicinal marijuana helps ease your symptoms then you should be a ble to grow your own instead of paying an arm and a leg for an ounce every week . Let's see if it's for real !

If some people say pot is bad, think also what sugar & salt do to us.

Idea ! legalize marijuana, outlaw alcohol. which is more damaging to your health?

  • notsonative - 8 years ago

I've never used marijuana, but I have concluded the following:
Pros: Unlike alcohol, marijuana overdose never killed anyone. Medicinal use studies are limited, but very promising, such as the development of the "Charlotte's Web" extract for epilepsy. American suppliers in legal-use states are already outcompeting Latin American drug cartels and product quality from these suppliers is higher and safer.
Con: Possible shortage of potato chips from recreational use. That's about it. ;)

Kick this idiot out of the Guam Legislator. She is definitely one of the biggest problem to our island. Please people of Guam, retire her now!
