I agree with Alfred Villacara. Let's honor all veterans rather than a politician who is seeking to get their name on a wonderful project.

Why not name the Bridge in Honor for all those who have made the Ultimate Sacrifice. THE WAR VETERAN'S MEMORIAL BRIDGE.

Politicians need to stop honoring themselves. There is only one group of people who deserve the honor of something named after them. Those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their home town, their state and America. Therefore I vote for Joseph G. Lemm who gave his life for our country in Afghanistan.

I'm tired of politicians renaming infrastructure for their "Political Class".
Leave it the way it is Tappan Zee Bridge.

I don't really think it matters what WE want it named because we're not the ones doing the voting.

I see no advantage or need to append anybody's name to the bridge as some kind of "honor". The Governor Malcolm Wilson name is always truncated in practice anyway, so ultimately it becomes almost disrespectful, in my opinion. Don't mess with success. The Tappan Zee Bridge was and is a perfectly utilitarian, historical, pleasant and appropriately brief appellation.
