It seems they have forgotten what they are there to do. They are there to represent the people. They are too busy representing themselves to look out for what the people want. I am tired of Governments that look out for themselves and the people (relatives usually) that work for them, and not give a damn about the people who are working to pay their salary. I would love to see someone take their hands out of Calvo's pocket and actually stand up for what is right, not for what they were told is right. Oh well, dreams of a corruption free Government will continue to be just that, a dream. They are too busy trying to figure out a way to keep the money they stole from all us taxpayers and make it legal.....
They deserve a F, because they quietly gave themselves a raise only days after the general election in 2014 without holding a public hearing. What is appalling is that some of them have nothing but excuses on why they voted for the raises. I would respect a "I deserve it" over excuses, including "but I didn't want to take away the raises for the mayor's".
I would have given a higher grade, but I don't trust many of these senators who can't make decisions because the governor controls them and their requirement to be transparent. They seem to be okay about lying, bring dumbfounded, stealing (as in the retro salaries), and coming up with wasteful excuses all of the time. They include Rodriguez the Gambler, Morrison the Extortionist, Tony Ada the "I can't wait to become Governor, Tina Barnes the Joint Chief of Staff, and Respicio the "let's see what I need to do to get elected this year". Oh and don't forget McCreadie the "I love to send 100 press releases each week cause I sound like I am doing something".
