Is it because I speak proper English, or that I work towards my goals??
That mentality holds down our (black) race, and it always will until something is done about it......

I don't allow anyone to have that kind of control over me. I'm very confident, you can call me any name you'd like; it has no affect on me.

Blaming your failures on discrimination: the victim crutch
Most of these people are late to work constantly, have poor job performance, were driving 15mph over the speed limit, or never studied, and have no ambition.
It is time to stop blaming your race and using it as a crutch !!

Pretty much everyone encounters some form of discrimination in their life, so what's the point of the poll?
YES for some it impacts their life significantly others just part of living with AHs...

Yep, every year!! Despite a history of no accidents and no claims my auto insurance goes up every year because of age.

I was called a spic by the head of commercial real estate lending while working at Wilmington Trust in 1995. I went to HR and was told that "sometimes men call each other names in social settings". I knew then that I had to get out because HR didn't care about protecting its staff from blatant descrimination. After 20 yrs it still stings, especially since it happened the day after I was promoted to AVP.
