Looks like Adelup staffers are waking up now. Yes votes just got 50 votes in the last 5 minutes. Hey STOP WASTING TAX PAYER DOLLARS AND GET BACK TO WORK!!

Crime is an all time high, and it is disappointing because the Lieutenant Governor claimed at the start of the first term that he is the czar of public safety and will prioritize safety for our island. More then 5 years later, drugs are more evident in our island than ever. Crimes against tourists, home invasions/burglaries, and even safety in our schools are not bring addressed. GPD is understaffed and there are not enough patrol cars touring our villages. Instead Ray Tenorio wants to take pictures at photo ops, focus on cleaning and painting bus stops, playing the role of politician, and the worst part is that he initiated this whole pay raise fiasco. Now I hear he wants to run for Governor with Tommy Morrison. Morrison wants to take away the pay raises of government employees including police officers like my husband. I am sorry, but greed and politicians don't deserve in making our island slip even further. So no, we are not safer today than we were 4 years ago.

Absolutely not. Safety is a worse concern today then it was 10 years ago. Government corruption is more obvious and blatant todayvtyan it was during Carls term. A lack of vision replaces hard work work, and fluff politics has taken over leadership. What makes matters worse is that doesn't seem to be a course ahead to improve things.

Absolutely Not ! and that goes for the majority of our citizens, but our elected leaders and political appointees sure are . With the pay raise they gave themselves how can they not be. The lucky few sad but true.

Financial ruin the likes of Puerto Rico , here we come ! Borrow , borrow , borrow just like Puerto Rico and bust . thanks gov Guam ! Lol..

  • strangedejim - 8 years ago

Absolutely NOT! Admittedly we're luckier than most, who may be more dependent on a steady government wage or assistance program, nevertheless it's obvious that Guam is and has been in an economic doldrum since Eddie's inauguration. His administration has exacerbated an already precarious financial situation.

Perhaps the only beneficiaries of the last 8 years have been lackeys and sycophants. Oh, and lucky government contractors.
