Its amazing to me that people let the media influence their thinking. Like sheep to the slaughter house. People, wake up. Can't you see the political games that are going on? Twist Trump's words around and make him look bad so the people are swayed. But, really.. what does Mr. Trump have to gain personally by running for president? He's already rich and famous. He certainly doesn't need a job. He's spending his own money for his campaign. Can't you see he's doing this because he loves our country and wants to do something about the terrible state its in. The problem is, he's stirring up the good ole boy's club in politics. The status quo has got to go. We can't continue down the road we are traveling.
I'm a registered independent so I can't vote in the primary :-(
"Must be silenced immediately"? Listen to yourself before you accuse others of being closed minded. This is a free country where people are entitled to have their opinion without having to be "silenced."
It's interesting to me that "bigotry" never applies to people that say negative things about conservatives, gun owners, people of (non- Muslim) faith, people who support the unborn, people with "traditional" values, people in law enforcement, and people that believe success comes from hard work, not from the government.
Why are people so quick to say that Donald Trump is a "bigot" when we have Bernie Sanders attacking people who deserve their success (the government should NEVER be ones only source of wealth), and Hillary attacking people who believe that life begins at conception? Those are closed minded views that are destructive to constructive discussion of issues in this country.
The divisiveness in this country has happened from people on both sides of the political aisle, but President Obama without a doubt had poured gasoline on the fires of division in this country (remember, Iran is our friend, but the Republicans are EVIL)- despite lying to the American people and saying he would bring us together. To say that Trump is a bigot is simplification and providing cover to some of the biggest promoters of division in this country.
What makes this country wonderful Mary Ann is the freedom of speech. When two people are in perfect agreement, only one of them is thinking.
Trump must be silenced immediately. His lies and bigotry are poisoning our wonderful country.
