I think there are more important issues to worry about at PSCD than feeding volunteer board members. There are numerous aspects of accountability this article could of covered. Why is the reporter always going after the Johnson family? I do not know the family personally, but I question why did Mr. Johnson name appeared, whom is not currently on the board? Why was there lack of name dropping from other school boards that were mentioned in this report?
I am reading this article and it turns into another Johnson attack. Is it the paper or the reporter that has an ax to grind?
I do believe in oversight, but think this investigation reporting is personal crap with the Johnson family. Please provide better journalism.
The Hyde park board needs to reigned in and I thank the Poughkeepsie Journal for highlighting them. All to often Hyde park's figures are "not available" at news time and there is a very good reason why. Letters to Board members go unanswered; there is an arrogance there. I have lived in the district for about 27 years and the school taxes have soared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's about time somebody looks into the inner workings of PCSD instead of always blaming everything on the worker bees!! Dig deeper please, this is only the beginning of the corruption! Let's also take a look at why we keep transferring incompetent administration from building to building instead of giving them the heave ho. Rediculous!!

Town looks like a true run down economic disaster,school taxes so high,so many empty homes,and 2 schools closed due to lack of enrollements too,just tossing the keys,and Bye Bye!How the seniors even survive is above comprehension too!And anti vet too,Vets asked for a vet exemption,balked over that one too!
Truly sad here,but same all across NYS too as we read in the papers too!And salarys and perks for 180 days of work(6 months)ya gotta be kidding us too!
