It is common sense that all bills have a hearing....this is comm SENSE through and through, no IFs or BUTs about it. We are suppose to be a democratic society with the same type of government. Nothing is to be hidden unless its a matter or National Security. There is a speech given by the late President JFK that expounds on just what our DEMocracy is all about. Our elected leaders should get educated about this realm we live in. OPEN government is a MUST.

Your statement is stupid, because there is no law stating a bill has to receive a public hearing. It can be shelved in committee just like how many states in the US do lawmaking.
