Wow. Where else does the arxhbishop become the subject of a favorability poll? How embarrassing that it has come to this. Obviously his flock has no confidence in him. Because the good ones get award nominations like pale mike. This guy gets this. Shameful. Wish he would just quit while he's ahead by two skewed polls LMFAO

What an indictment of the archbishop. The fact that he is being tried in the courts of public opinion (twice since the PDN has conducted this poll before) is a bigger issue than the results of the obviously skewed results. To have a cleric, and a bishop at that, be subjected to this humiliation shows the depths to which he has fallen. No respect, no confidence.

Where are the local church leaders, Apuron, Quitugua, Adrian, why are you leaders hiding behind the skirt of the visitors or strangers from off island? Is ginirini, pius or Edivaldo now leading the church in Guam? Tell us the truth.

  • Jesse Camacho - 8 years ago

I believe in God and God alone. I grew up as a Catholic trying to believe but as you all have seen for yourself, Apuron lives like a king on the people's dime. Let me indirectly say one thing more, there is more to Apuron than most people think. He has hidden agendas and that's just the truth.

  • Rol - 8 years ago

The truth will prevail. If Apuron has nothing to hide, why does he not come forth and speak to the faithful? Why is a stranger from Brazil speaking to the faithful as if he is the Archbishop?

Our Arch bishop has lost his way , guided by greed and has forgotten us . That Neo spokesman is shady and as I watched and listened to him I felt even more uneasy . I do feel Arch bishop Apuron needs to be replaced . It seems corruption has devoured our bishop.

Let us stand and be heard, enough is enough! The Neos will invade our churches one church at a time. Where will our children end up at the hotels? Love our One Catholic Apostolic Church!!

Its very clear that the bad guys again are rigging these polls, so have look at Zoltan and his classes and many statesider NW's, they have the most interest to rig these polls. There are similarities to the Calvo administration, births of a feather

Scores not reliable considering I was able to vote more then once on all my devices

  • Kim Cruz - 8 years ago

I am not taking any sides on this issue. But here's my take :
There are two sides to every story and so far I've heard only one side which is coming from the Catholic group of protesters.
I've not heard directly from Bishop Apuron in person to answer questions.
I would like to see Bishop Apuron come out and explain.

As easily as I have voted being off-island, I'm sure the NEO-network in the mainland is hard at work. It is clear they have much to lose if the archbishop goes down, the people's money and the RMS property. The Neos are DESPERATE to hang on to the island. It would be curious to see his numbers if a "GUAMANIAN" security question was asked before being allowed to vote.

He is the most arrogant servant of God. He doesn't desrve my respect.

  • Anthony Apron - 8 years ago

I wonder if they can break down the polling numbers to find out how many votes are actually from Guam.

  • Jonathan Diaz - 8 years ago

1am and we are well over 2,000 votes! Way to go SCANDAL! Keep going Devils! Burn the midnight oil!

  • Jonathan Diaz - 8 years ago

Hey Catherine, why not put your last name so we know who you are! And by "polls" do you mean the male penis? If that was your intention, I believe Fr. Luis Camacho knows a lot about that, especially after being ordained! Thanks be to God, I am not a priest today! Thank you Holy Spirit! I love my "second" virginity since it was taken away from me by someone who was way older than I at 12 years of age in a Catholic Church on Guam!

  • Anthony Cabrera - 8 years ago

I challenge PDN to just go for the jugular and insist that Apuron do a face to face interview so that everyone can really see the type of "Shepard" he truly is...arrogance and pathetic! It is absolutely ridiculous that he hides within the walls of office and not have the humility much less the courtesy of coming out and meeting with the congregation! Allowing his front men to speak on his behalf is pathetic! WHAT IS HE AFRAID OF? This is the same attitude and arrogance that got Cardinal Raymond Burke and Bishop Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst of Limburg, Germany fired from their positions because it is exactly the opposite behavior that our very own Pope has been preaching. Apuron is next!

  • Catherine - 8 years ago

    Mr. Diaz ... It's "polls".

  • Jonathan Diaz - 8 years ago

So let me just say this: I looked at the pole at 6:00pm, he was losing with more votes than confident votes. At 7pm, still the same thing, then back at 10pm Guam time and then a gradual spike. Now 12am, they've blown to over 1,000 votes. These poles are deceiving because all you do is delete your cookies on your computer and keep voting. I can imagine a computer lab at RMS to be filled with seminarians deleting cookies and continuing to vote throughout the night when Guam is sleeping! We will not be fooled so give it a rest! There is zero unity in the Archdiocese of AgaƱa, Guam because of scandal! Get that in your heads now rather than later!

  • gen - 8 years ago

It's such a shame to have him serve as our Archbishop. He thinks he's God for crying out loud.

  • notsonative - 8 years ago

Wow. It's the Shiite Catholics versus the Sunni Catholics. What a waste of time.
