I have to agree with Frank. The mayor of New York City is facing possible charges for illegally funneling money into a state senate campaign for a (failed) candidate who represented this area, and Pojo is largely silent. But one player on a team that plays their games 3,000 miles away who grew up in the area is a nearly daily focus between April and October.

Enough of Joe Panik already. Is this all were going to hear about all summer is Joe Panik? He's a baseball player, It's not like he is contributing to science or anything. Give it a rest.

We were actually attending a Giants game in SF on the day they announced that they had drafted Joe Panik. They announced that he was from Hopewell Junction NY and we were pretty sure we were the only people in the stadium who knew where that was! Our son Kevin, who also graduated from John Jay, works nearby and attends many games. My husband and I got to see Joe play there in 2014. In 2015 our son had the opportunity to go on the field during batting practice and Joe came over and they chatted about John Jay and being from Dutchess County. He said Joe was very nice and enjoyed speaking with him. Our son even has the Joe Panik bobble-head and was at the game on April 18th this year when Joe hit a home run.

I agree with Frank. Enough is enough.
