Copy and paste this link to see the picture of cadets with raised fist in uniform. My question is, what's the difference?

This picture is not about politics, the fist stands for pride, unity and solidarity. These women are proud, intelligent, future leaders that just accomplished insurmountable odds to be graduating from this prestigious institute and joining the long gray line. An Institute that produces President's, General's and CEO's and creates a deeper sense of pride for your county. Having accomplished this feat, I know this feeling of pride very well having triumphed in an arena where African American Females barely make up 1.7% per class size of approximately 1000. I support my sisters in arms #USMAproud #Changethenarrative #Westpoint16

As a cadet one is obligated to the defence of America,. An opinion is not warranted in such position.

All cadets take an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States but that does not take away their rights of free speech. Are we ever going to view a picture of any group who wishes to celebrate that moment in time without mentioning the 'race card'. Take each moment and celebrate who and what we are; Americans.

Robert Turner, are you really going to go with that statement? Either you are ignorant or just plain clueless.

The photo is Just another example of poor leadership in this country. Our country has slowly lost its authority, its superiority, its morals, and leadership just to name a few. Oh by the way, do these girls know who the Military Commander-in-Chief might be? Surprise Its Obama, not a smart move by the girls.

These girls are giving the known hand gesture of the black panthers! Every single one of these girls. They should know better! As West Point Cadets, you're supposed to be the best. Top notch. These hand gestures don't belong in ANY place especially in a place held in such high regard as West Point! This is completely unacceptable and completely unacceptable behavior for a West Point cadet!! It is completely disrespectful and despicable!

Just because the cadets have their fist up does not mean it's political. Is it political when a athlete raises their fist? I believe a lot of people still place their racist thoughts whenever more than three blacks are together in unison. If it was a group of whites pictured with their fist up it would not be said they were representing the KKK nor should it be said.
