make everything legal, and tax the hell out of it to hire a whole load of police officers and provide more rehab drug clinics. Don't fight the tide, work with it.

Well if you read the local papers seems to be we have more crime. Shootings, robberies, child abuse, thefts, sexual assaults, DUIs, and of course misconduct by our elected officials and those who are supposed to be overseeing things.

The local courts are a dismal failure. Nothing more than pushing papers and providing lawyers more billable hours. Nothing about holding people actually accountable. Most police now are phoning it in. Reluctant to actually do their job more interested in avoiding the effort.

Our entire criminal justice system is an expensive, inefficient, flawed process that lines the pockets of a very few, fails to enforce the laws, fails to protect its citizens, and fails to serve the public good.

Drugs and crime as a result of drug abuse has grown at an alarming rate in the our area.

Not a pretty picture any way you look at it.
