Seems like the only one attacking other posters here is a troll named "notsonative". These trolls think attacking the person and not the argument will give them points. Only in their warped minds.

France has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world. It didn't save the over a hundred or so people that were gunned down by terrorists that reloaded over and over again.

Do some research before you reiterate the tired old left-wing BS.

And be thankful you can still post your view without retribution thanks to all those guns you are so scared of.

    Ciao

Fine. Keep your semiautomatics. While you're at it, why not legalize rocket launchers and nuclear warheads for the masses too? I mean, it's still self-defense, right?
Again, all these morons below also had nothing to say after each shooting, including Sandy Hook, but sitting in a room with their eyes closed talking to no one. Prayers mean nothing for the dead. Your hopes and prayers are not enough to bring them back.
We've been legalizing guns and making it far too easy for crazies to get them for decades, but the shootings continue year after devastating year. How about we try a different approach, right-wingers? You know, before someone with an AR-15 shoots up another school?
    THANKS.

Let's face it, people are afraid of guns! They let a tangible item control their emotions. Many of them also expect others to save them if they were ever in an area where a shooting occurred. Some of them even hire armed security to protect them, then go on to talk about abolishing the Second Amendment.
Stronger gun control methods will just make it harder for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves. So if stronger gun control methods pass, and we find ourselves in a shooting with a criminal who obtained that gun illegally, you are going to wish you didn't vote "yes" because now I can't save you.
Violence is from the heart people... A gun can only be fired by acting on a decision of a human being.
We don't need gun control, we need to have control over our thoughts and decisions.

I stand behind you in line at the store with a smile on my face...and a gun under my shirt and you are none the wiser, yet you are safer for having me next to you. I won't shoot you. My gun won't pull it's own trigger. It is securely holstered with the trigger covered. It can't just go off. However, rest assured that if a lunatic walks into the grocery store and pulls out a rifle, I will draw my pistol and protect myself and my family and therefore protect you and your family. I may get shot before I can pull the trigger...but, I won't die in a helpless blubbering heap on the floor begging for my life or my child's life. No, if I die it will be in a pile of spent shell casings. I won't be that victim. I choose not to be. As for you, I don't ask you to carry a gun. If you are not comfortable, then please don't. But I would like to keep my right to choose to not be a helpless victim. There is evil in the world and if evil has a gun, I want one too...

@notsonative if freedom of speech offends you please leave for another country . Everyone should be able to express their opinions without being threatened by a liberal over righteous , left wing political correctness junkie loser like you. @notsonative go eat rat poison .
It's people like you who make speaking out so hard . It's people like you that make honest opinions invisible . It's people like you who are making our country into a more divisive and weak one . How about letting everyone speak and I will do the same with people like you.

Guns are not the problem, it's the person behind the gun that's the problem.
When I say "person behind the gun", I'm not referring to people who are licensed to carry a gun, for protection.

The female singer who was shot just before the Orlando club shooting didn’t fit the left wing gun control standard. Why, because the shooter obtained his guns illegally. Didn’t hear much from them about gun control then because it proved forcing law abiding citizens into stricter and stricter gun control does not work. If someone wants to kill someone with a gun they can get them illegally. No gun cotrols will stop this. And yeah, you can stick your head where the sun doesn’t shine and believe we live in some La La land where if we only controlled guns criminals would not use them. I wish for such a world. But you have to grow up and realize we live in reality.
Guns are not allowed in a nightclub. Law abiding citizens obeyed this law. It was up to the nightclub in Orlando to keep their clientele safe. They failed and now they should be held accountable as well as the whackjob that broke the law and entered with guns. And if anyone thinks this nut cared about gun control laws or any laws for that matter you are a lost cause.

@Renz Sure, why don't we take your logic to the extreme and stop trying to stop terrorism since "there not going to follow laws" in the first place?
I am horribly surprised at how stupid people are on this island. You do not need a semiautomatic rifle to defend your castle, nor can you justify use of such a weapon to hunt deer.
Still want a gun? Fine, but the Japanese do gun ownership right and make it very difficult to obtain one. The Akihabara stabber wounded people, but didn't murder en masse because he didn't have a goddamn gun in the first place.
And, tell me, if Florida makes it very easy to own guns, where was the good guy with a gun at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando? Should we now expect every gun owner to magically appear out of nowhere and defend us before anyone gets killed?
It's very easy to defend gun ownership when you haven't been affected by one. Please take your right-wing, NRA, homophobic, racist nonsense back to Alabama where it belongs.

It has allways been when somebody murders people with a gun automatically more guns are to blame. And automatically and mostly the right explenation the person who pulled the trigger is the one to be blame. Liberals and non liberals can go on and on with studies, statistics and what ever shakes the tree but the one fact remains if a criminal islamic terrorist or insane person wants to murder for any reason weather for religous belief or just plane insanity there not going to follow laws that we law abiding citizens follow to get guns. Bottom line gun control doesnt work but impede the law abiding citizen.
