If they select the freshman with the canon arm, they have a shot against LSU. Sure he might flame out, but without him as an equalizer they have little chance this year. Why not let him learn and grow?

Actually neither of the above. The most important element is the O line. Better holes equal better backs. Better run game equals better play-action. You know the rest. This line should be 150% ahead of 2015 which allows healthy running backs to be 200% over 2015. this will be a very, very productive offense.
