Our home was broken into in broad daylight (between 3-4 pm)in January of this year even though we have an alarm system in place so now we have installed cameras and perhaps we will (3 adults in the household) will be armed soon!!
I know at least a dozen other homes (which belong to friends) that have been broken into as well.
Our governor has failed to protect us from the common criminals & the courts are not doing their job.

Duterte for Governor of Guam - 8 years ago
Maybe we should ask Philippine President Duterte to be interim Governor of Guam to clean up the drug problem, which is fueling probably the majority of home break-ins. His method appears to be working in the Philippines.

no one is safe in Guam as long as the Guam judges keep letting criminals go free only to be re-arrested again. the police are doing their jobs and when it comes time for the buck to stop at the judicial branch, it fails. WEAK JUDGES! crimes on Guam can be lesser, if the discretion is taken away from the judges, if not IMPEACH the bench. Judges are not holding up to their code of conduct and ethics.

I feel safe because I have a Glock 22 40 caliber handgun with hollow point bullets.

I can't say I feel safe today and then I get robbed tomorrow.
Most of these crimes are happening because of drugs use, mainly, "Ice" crystal Meth.
You can place 500 cops on the streets but that would not stop crime if "Crystal Meth" or Ice use is still rampant on the island.
Life in prison for drug dealers is a good start.....
