@Baker: The way you speak about someone who is respectable, has the islands future and its people in favor, and is CERTAINLY Chamorro shows how much you care and know about our island. The fact that you know nothing about her gives off the look that you waste your time complaining instead of actually using common sense to do anything - including bringing the vote and support the right candidate. Margaret Mcdonald Glover Metcalfe is the right choice. Because Guam needs someone who isn't in it just for a career, Guam needs someone who's passionate. Shame that you also make us Chamorro's look bad by using that type of attitude.

We left Guam originally in 1967, with an unknown future. We had no other goals except to survive and keep out family together. Today we have proven so many people wrong that we have been able to take care of ourselves. But our family would not have been able to do this unless we had Pudden and my mother fighting all along to keep us successful. So , almost 50 yrs later , our sister wants to help the people of Guam be able to accomplish what we were so lucky to achieve. We, Margaret,Kathy, Mary Anne & Tom, have had great lives. Our goal of keeping us together was achieved and and enabled all of us to have good jobs and take care of our families. The definition of success has been to be reasonably sane, healthy and happy, and give back to help anyone who needs it. Pudden & Chris, now feel before they can't work anymore, that they want to help Guam, and there is no one else that you would want in your corner than Pudden. She has the education, the experience and the passion to accomplish this. She is a fighter, do not under estimate her capabilities. She can do it. I know there are so many other families from the island that can relate to this. Give our island a chance , in the 21st century, to finally be able to take free breaths, knowing their families will be OK.

The passing of the Torch in any event whether it be in business, in a home, in a government, in professional sports is a way of life in a civilized society. The crown, the belt, the Trophy... a title holder has/holds must be passed on to the next generation with gratitude and admiration. As an example in the world of basketball we saw many great athletes accepting that their time was up and willfully bowed out. Michael Jordan handing it over to Lebron James, Lebron to Steph Curry and so on. Please pass on the torch to this generation. With all the love and respect that we have for all players in any sport.

TIRED VOTER, you're probably just Metcalfe in the flesh! 6 months in DC "knocking on doors?" PAALEEAASSE! Get a friggin' life. Why wait to live on Guam? Who the hell cares if she's funding her own campaign? What a pompous Asshole! Who needs THAT in DC! Her attitude about not having fundraisers so she doesn't owe anyone, makes me feel like she WON'T wirk for anyone but herself. If you are voting for her, you are not chamorro!

I'm am tired of these failed career politicians like Camacho who gave away Fena lake. And Bordallo who has still after 18 years has not help our Vets. My vote goes to Metcalfe this election! We need someone new instead of giving these failures another title/office in our nations capital.

Dyring the UOG forum, I think Pudding and Tony killed it and actually answered the questions. But the two who should be best at debates seemed to try and appeal to everyone without actually caring for the answer. Great job you.

It's time to get a new person in the Congress. Thanks for your efforts Mrs Bordallo. Time for her to retire.

Madeleine has the rest of the candidates beat as far as already overcoming the learning curve of being a delegate in DC and all the nuances of Congress. She is recognized by established representatives and senators, has the contacts and has made Guam her home and her life. It would take years for a rookie to just get to where she is now. A non-Chamorro woman who has made her mark on Guams legacy. Although I am not a Hillary fan nor a Gutierrez fan, Madeleine will still get my vote.

Felix Cam-Achoo provides the basic, no reply to questions regarding his first Goober-natorial run. Felix won sleeping with Guitterez demonkrats to ensure victory. Underwood's messaage, 'the system is broken and needs to be fixed' registered Guahan's disapproval/ rejection of Gutierrez 'Pare', Connections and or Familia name syndication.' Non-committed Demonkrats, for Guahan's future betterment, jumped shipped and selected Cam-Achoo! The demonbkratic goal ENSURED GUITERREZ FLUNKY APPOINTED DEMONKRATS RETAINED THEIR GOVGUAM APPOINTMENTS, ET CET. These demonkratic core are the leeches salivating GovGuam access and abuse! This is the same core Demon-Krats who still push for the Guiterrez resurrection. The System is broken and Underwood abandoned ship; polo-tical motivation to assist Nerissa pass legislation past demonkrats and repugnant gangsters! Babauta flails at braggart rights of established Washington connections! GQPUBLIC doesn't recognise current pictures with powerful senators, et cet. Babauta is a LIABILITY due to his prior FED INVESTIGATION. Babauta resigned to save his dagan. Babauta abused his position and believes Guahan finds that acceptable. The toss up remains between metcalf and bordallo. Guahan choice and selection should be based intelligence and Guahan's future for their families and their families family. This election will showcase maturity and or the 'Pare', Connections and or Familia name syndication. Note: the same core of Sin-Actors and Goobers sit in office and the same financial SITUATION NORMAL, ALL F__KED UP(SNAFU).

Known Margaret for a while. She's calm, level headed and listens. That gives her the ability to understand the problem before offering a solution. Her calmness and pragmatic approach is essential now more than ever. She can sift through the problem and get to the core of the issue. We need to vote with our heads and not emotions or misguided notions. We live in a turbulent time and need Margaret's calm headed thoughts to smooth the waters around us. Common sense, can do attitude and pragmatism, that's Margaret. It's not about who can spend the money, it's about who cares and delivers.

    TONY-tony-TONY-TONY.

Don't know Margaret all too well but she seems like a way better candidate than all. Especially if you want an assertive person who can get the job done. She seems like she would put up a fight and not back down. My type of leader. Tony also seems reasonable and not a bad choice. Praying for THE RIGHT CANDIDATE TO WIN! God knows.

At the Forum, it was hard to pay attention to anything Madeline had to say....Her jewelry was quite a distraction. Gold ring on every finger, gold bracelets that are almost to her elbow, and she had a rather large gold chain. On a more serious note: Madeline had way too many chances to do better for us...HAS SHE???????????????? I mean we're kinda in the same spot still sooooooooo i would suggest NOT!

Felix Felix Felix. If he's so qualified to be our candidate, then why is he so afraid of an open debate? This could've been very informational and benefited the people to see where our candidates stood. This election will show the frustrations of our people on Guam and how tired we are of FAILED POLITICIANS and CAREERS. Over and over again. Repetitive Insanity. When will the madness stop? Just because you were our Governor before, this doesn't make you qualified. Especially when you continued to fail our island. You put us at an economic all time low. You push your agenda further and step all over us. How dare you try and run again!

No carpetbaggers like Tony or Pudding -- we should stick with the lady with the record, the contacts, the seniority and the class -- Madeleine B.!

    Cheering you on Puddin.

I find it so shocking how Guam people vote for Felix Camacho claiming a great communicator when his long and "good" record was of him locking himself up and shutting out the people and his own party. *smh*

  • Jerry V. - 8 years ago

Oh, did I forget the just look at my pedigree candidate for it clearly makes me qualified...

Won't debate for does not have the basic and necessary tools to prove anything. Just daddy's resume' will do...

  • Jerry V. - 8 years ago

Definitely not the skirt chasing, arrogant and supportive of recreational marijuana candidate...
