I rode from Wilmington, DE and got off at Staples Mills Station in Virginia. I enjoyed it! I had a good seat, great legroom for a tall woman and just the thought of not having to drive all the way to Richmond, VA....it was just wonderful. And I plan to do it again!

It is a big waste. There is a reason private companies gave up passenger service years ago!! Amtrak is way to expensive to ride any distance and very expensive to maintain. We shall see what Mr Moorman can do with it.

Money should have been specifically earmarked for Delaware projects, Mr. Biden. New stations in Claymont and Newark are a lot more important than upgrading existing stations. And a line from Claymont to the airport would be a great idea.

If it's a huge waste of money, why is it so hard to find an empty seat? The investment is really needed. The people that complain obviously don't ride the trains! Our highways are too clogged as it is.

TOO EXPENSIVE and the New Upgrade is going to cost us MORE..
I Drive to the 30th Street station to NYC as it saves me $40.00 one way.
IT'S A STUPID IDEA to invest any money other than maintenance, the new plan will only encourage more vagrants and will not increase the number of people that ride it now, BUT it will INCREASE ticket prices which could decrease the number of riders.
How about putting the money into our failing bridges, streets, GANG problems !!!
