    I had 2 TV's on and was in a closet with my dog and watched as Van Winkle and Reid were not willing to go against the national weathers forecast I watched Jim Farrell make the call and say southwest Florida was going to take a direct hit from major hurricane for first time since Donna. It was another 10 or 15 minutes before Reif and Van Winkle had the courage to do the same. I had always been a NBC Tom Rector weather watcher Since that day I watch WINK for my weather. It can cost a meteorologist his credibility but Mr Farrell had guts to make the call and probably save lives
