All 5 athletes were great during the time they played for St. Philip. Different girls, different stats, different coaches and different years.
Congradulate each other for the recognition and smile at the memories.
Maybe my name is on the poll, but I voted for all four of the other girls. Why? Because we all loved the ball game and it means something different for each us.
I also had Coach Guerra while growing up, there is not just 1 player. It's a team. It takes a team to win.
We all played ball for STP.....years apart, but still on the same team.
So for the record....somebody used my name saying I don't deserve the award...just to set things straight, that was NOT ME! For whatever reason everyone is highly against me winning this award. Me being the bigger person, I'm going to say best of luck to whoever wins!! We are all athletes who have/had a love for this game so let's be happy for whoever wins plane and simple!
So what if I am Emily's dad? I am totally saying this from an objective point of view! She has the best stats and how can you say someone that didn't even play high school softball is better? Emily has over 10,000 friends also, she hangs out with them regularly also!

Um excuse me, YOU'RE an idiot. Emily has the best stats for her season. She played all the sports that her small school offered and went on to play softball in college. She had undeniable grit and love for the game, don't hate on her fans supporting her. She's clearly doing very well for herself according to the votes.

You guys are idiots, it's Jen Campbell hands down. They didn't even have woman's softball at the time she was in high school, so she never played, then while playing volleyball at Baylor the softball coach approached her after a game and she played two sports for softball and volleyball for Baylor. This is without her ever holding a bat before she was 18! Who can do that? Jen can!
