Standard time all year, days naturally get longer. End daylight savings time, it’s too dark in the morning.

Days are "longer" in summer naturally. You don't need to go through this ridiculous and outdated time change ritual to have more daylight in spring and summer. Dark mornings are dangerous for school kids. I'd like to end DST.

I agree with those who would prefer daylight savings time year round. In Florida on Eastern Standard time our days are close to 12 hours of day and twelve hours of dark. Daylight savings time is better for tourism and outdoor activities for all of us.

Daylight Savings Time in the winter months forces children to walk to their school bus stop and wait in the dark for their bus. If any of you are actually our at this time you will notice that at least half of the drivers are on their phone and /or holding coffee. It is just a matter of time before some kids get hit.

I prefer to wake up when it is light outside. It is safer for children going to school when it is light outside. By the end of the day it is still hot in the evening. If we stayed on DST all year long we would then be on AST - Atlantic Standard Time & not in sync with the rest of the USA.

Would prefer to keep Daylight Savings time all year. Appreciate having extra hours of sunlight at end of day rather than early in the day. We are the Sunshine State after all!

Keep Daylight saving time all year don’t eliminate it.Eliminate EST. More time to enjoy the Florida weather

This pol should be Cancelled and replaced. Apparently, people are confused between standard and daylight savings time and are responding incorrectly. An explanation should be included in the pol.

It seems to me from reading other posted comments that readers want daylight savings time to continue, perhaps year round. I suspect some are confused by the wording of the question.

I think the question is very confusing. People are voting yes, but the answer should be no. We don't want to end day light savings time. We want to go back to day light savings time and keep the time alone. Also I don't believe that two people in office should have the say on vote. We the people should all vote and have a say because it effects all of us in our daily lives.

DST makes farming difficult as extended morning darkness in our peak season reduces our productivity. Workers can not simply shift schedules later due to personal responsibilities.

We should be on daylight saving time permanently.

It would do damage to tourism dollars at restaurants and such with it being dark earlier. We want daylight savings time all year, end standard time.

It has been tested and shown that changing time to daylight savings time decreases IQ over places that do not change the time.

I hate it being dark when I get off work. I like it dark in the morning and light at night get to do more after 4:30 pm. Hate that it is dark at 6:30 pm. You want day light saving. Get ride of standered time
