Assault Weapons were banned before in the early 1990's and it did not create a meltdown,
but did severely decrease the number of gunshot murders.

After Australia had a school shooting in the late 1990's, they banned guns and after that
had no more mass shootings, so don't tell me it can't work, you gun owners just don't
want to give up your AR15's. Why is the real reason. Why are your guns more important
than our Children? If you need an AR15 to hunt, you are no real hunter, but a danger to the
    real hunters out there.

If you want to raise the age to 21 and raise the age to 21 to join the military! Better yet started draft for male and female at the age of 21! The problem with America today is that we treat young adults as babies! And the parents of today don't teach their kids morals, values and respect!

If they ever tried to ban assult weapons from the "LAW-ABIDING" Citizen in America, it Would cause the worse Revolution, and it WOULD last for Years. That is a fact !!!

Reasonable gun restrictions—yes. But will no one address that before Columbine there were no school shootings in the USA, yet people owned guns. As a middle school teacher, I can assure you that our American culture shift is the major cause of our problems. The decline of American stability coincides with the decline of the nuclear family. It did the Romans in, I hope it will not do us in.
