  I grabbed at Otovalo/Cotacachi for two reasons - I just spent 10 days in Costa Rica swollen from the heat and a place that has relief (as a mountain girl) sounds divine. But truly it was your description - you sounded like it would suit the family better. Go with your heart when you make the decision! But no matter where you choose, it'll be perfect for you.

  Voting Otavalo/Catacachi. "Reflectively listening," I am not hearing many negatives about the area, and lots of heartfelt positives. But I know you will all know exactly where to go!
