Do you pay tithing on gifts of cash you receive?

I can certainly see the rationale for tithing cash gifts. But since I make no effort to tithe my increase through in-kind gifts (tithing of gift cards, anyone?), and since cash gifts are an inconsequentail part of my increase, I do not tithe them. It is, of course, a personal decision.
