Shaka was heartbroken his freshman year of college ball at Kenyon when his coach announced he was leaving for a bigger program. That's something he admitted has stuck with him. I can't imagine him doing that to the freshman he recruited, but then again, he probably sees things differently now that he's a coach...
There is absolutely no way he is at VCU next year. People need to face it, a job like CU is great. It is , however, and always will be, a stepping stone job. Guys who get into the profession deserve a shot at the big time. VCU is a great place, but it will always be a fight to be compared to the big boys. He will still be wearing that blue shirt and orange tie next year, but it will be in Champaign, Illinois.
