I've had three of my bikes stolen since moving to Winnipeg from Toronto in 2000.
Two of the bikes where very expensive trail bikes that I had put lots of upgrades into.
The third, and this is the baffling part, was a piece of junk the I built from scrap parts recovered from back lane dumpsters. I never leave my bike anywhere now, not even locked up while I pop into the corner store.
