I read the Twilight books and The Hunger Games and love both series, but come on...the kiss in the film between Jennifer and Josh lacked so much chemistry that it was embarassing. I could not believe how that cave kiss turned out. Bad, bad, bad! We are not comparing plot and story themes, so please, if we are seriously just talking about kissing, then Edward and Bella/Rob and Kristen win hands down.

Okay, I've read both series and while Twilight was good in the books, The Hunger Games was better. But if we're actually talking about the kiss, then it's defiantly The Hunger Games. Everyone's sick of Twilight winning all the time and it's time something better came along, which it did. The Hunger Games had amazing acting, but Twilight fans can't say that because it wasn't acting for Kristen and Robert. Jennifer Lawrence can make a kiss look heartfelt just by the way she looks at Josh, while the Breaking Dawn kiss was so awkward. And why is everyone talking about how different the two are? There's no denying that they are in no way the same except that they have massive franchises. It's based solely on the kiss, therefore The Hunger Games kiss (may I say, the only one in the movie, while Breaking Dawn had multiple during the first half an hour) should win.

I don't see why everyone keeps saying in THG the kiss was just a kiss. It was not! The kiss wasn't just a kiss, it was for survial, and it was when Katniss first actually started having feelings for Peeta. In Twilight they kiss like every 5 minutes and its so unrealistic. THG is accually realistic. Vampires and Werewolves aren't real. What happened in THG could actually happen in the future. Twilight is a high school fling leading to a future together. THG is about a fight to the death. THG has an evil government taking 24 kids between the ages of 12-18, throwing them in an arena and making them kill each other. Katniss/Jennifer and Peeta/Josh should win because it was by far, the best kiss!!!!!!!

They are two totally different series, I want to know how many of you have actually read both series? It's really hard to compare, Twilight, for example, is about a girl who finds the love of her life, but with a plot twist where he's a mythical creature, and then he goes away in fear of hurting her, and she becomes friends with another mythical creature. Then he comes back, and marries her. All Twilight is, is a clasic romantic love story, but modern and with a plot twist. The Hunger Games is about a girl who lives in a not so far away dystopian future, and is forced to do what she has to to feed her family. She saves her sister from having to fight in the games risking her life for her, and yes in the FIRST book it was all for the games, in the last one she realises she loves Peeta. The love is not the main part of the series, yes it plays a role, but is not the main focus. The Hunger Games is about a girl who does what it takes to survive in a world where everyone is poor except for the few privlaged who live in the lavish Capitol. Katniss is a girl who is fighting for freedom, she has so much independence. She is fighting to make the wrongs right.

How is Twilight beating The Hunger Games? Kristen Stewart can't even act! Katniss and Peeta's kiss was so important and meant so much to the movie and to the whole plot! They only kiss once in that movie, and it was so important! In Breaking Dawn, those two kiss all the time! It doesn't even matter... yeah, they have sex after their wedding. BIG DEAL. That book doesn't even compare to The Hunger Games, it's all about a stupid love triangle between a normal, plain and stupid girl and two mythical creatures. The Hunger Games is so much more, a novel about an evil government and the effects of their tyranny on everyone under their rule. It's about rebellion and loyalty! That's much more than Twilight ever did. The Hunger Games teaches us so much more than Twilight ever could. It deserves best kiss without a doubt. So vote THG!

Honestly, those people, who have voted for Twilight needs better reasons. It might be that Katniss/Jennifer doesn't seem to like Peeta/Josh, but if you knew what Katniss is thinking during the kiss, then you would know that it means so much more than just food and sponsors. She actually wonders if she really likes him or if it is just for the games. And Peeta truly loves her. And just for the hell of it; Jennifer and Josh are some of the best friends ever. Backstage they joke around and such.
I must say that I do NOT know much about Twilight, since I have only read one book. But for all I know, there is no special reason, why Bella/Kristen and Edward/Robert are in love. The first time Bella sees Edward, she instantly likes his looks. Actually, he only reason why Edward "liked" her in the beginning was because of her smell! Sex and kissing is all that Twilight is about.

The Hunger Games has a load of drama, and the love between Katniss and Peeta isn't because of some high school fling, its because it's the only way they can survive. The Cave Scene kiss is the moment when Katniss realizes she does have feelings for Peeta, and that the relationship is more than just a tactic for the Games. That kiss is so crucial! It deserves to win.
